Annual Fundraising and Scholarship Awards Events / Gala

Between H.A.N.A. of Georgia and Scholarship Presenters

1. Purpose
This application outlines the agreement between H.A.N.A. of Georgia Fundraising & Scholarship Awards Gala and the Scholarship regarding the administrative fees and ticket provisions for the annual fundraising and scholarship event.

2. Responsibilities
A. Gala Partners
⦁ Administrative Fee:

Gala Hosts /Partners/Gala Committee will apply a 30% administrative fee on all scholarship funds provided to any recipient during the annual fundraising and scholarship event.

⦁ Ticket Provision:
   ⦁ For scholarships amounting to $1,500.00 or greater:

Gala Hosts / Partners will provide a complimentary ticket for both the student recipient and the presenter. The presenter will be able to present the award to the student at the ceremonial event.

   ⦁ For scholarships amounting to less than $1,500.00:

Gala Partners will provide a complimentary ticket for the student recipient only. The presenter is responsible for purchasing his/her own ticket to the event. The award will be presented to the student by a chosen member of the gala committee and not necessarily by the presenter.

⦁ Event Platform and Awards:
Gala Partners will provide the platform for the distribution of scholarships, including any awards that need to be given to the presenter, and, or student as needed.

Certificates will be included for presentation during the gala, irrespective of the scholarship amount received.

B. Scholarship Committee
⦁ Scholarship Distribution:
The Scholarship Committee will identify and select recipients for scholarships to be awarded during the annual event.

Presenters may also request a specific nursing, healthcare or in-memorandum award presented as long as the presenter’s sponsorship is $1,500.00 or more.

All presenters are required to be present at the event at least 1 hour prior to the start time.

⦁ Coordination with Gala Partners:
The Scholarship Committee will provide Gala Partners with the necessary information about the scholarship recipients and presenters in a timely manner to facilitate event planning and ticket distribution at least two months prior to the event.

3. Duration

This application process shall be effective from the date of signing and will remain in effect until modified or terminated by the event partners.

4. Amendment and Termination

This application is agreed upon signing and there is no refund to the presenter once funds are received.
