Apart from her professional achievements, Myrlene is actively involved in various community organizations. She is a proud member of the Arthritis Foundation and serves as the Chair of Public Relations for Konbit Ble & Wouj. Additionally, she contributes her time and efforts to HANA of Georgia, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact.
An activist at heart, Myrlene has been a former member of Jobs for Justice and a labor militant. Her compassionate nature drives her desire to help others, which brings her immense gratification. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and listening to music. However, her true passion lies in dancing, as it allows her to express herself and find joy in movement.
Myrlene’s dedication to healthcare and improving the lives of others led her to pursue a nurse practitioner program in mental health. Although this pursuit is currently on hold, she plans on resuming her studies. The commitment to continuous education reflects Myrlene’s passion for providing the highest level of care and support to her patients.
